Dr. Sheila Jungmeyer
Dr. Sheila Jungmeyer grew up in Eldon near Lake of the Ozarks. During high school, she worked in her family business, Jungmeyer Heating and Air Conditioning. That experience shaped how she views patient care and practice ownership. Treat people right. Earn return visits through service and integrity. She attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1992. She was recognized for strong achievement on National Boards and took part in
the Honors Program during dental school. She also served as an elected class officer for three years, a role that reflects steady leadership and commitment to collaboration.
Before opening her Lee’s Summit practice in 1996, Dr. Jungmeyer worked in a group practice and learned from experienced mentors, including Dr. Dale Ewing and Dr. Merle Nunemaker. Working alongside a dentist with five decades of experience taught her a lasting lesson. Clinical skills improve with time, mentorship, and commitment to ethics.
Dr. Jungmeyer has lived in Lee’s Summit since 1996. She and her husband have raised three children here. Her schedule stays full of family life, travel, scuba diving, flying airplanes, snow skiing, and keeping up with her kids. Her approach to practice ownership stays simple.
